This handcrafted Forged Carbon Steel battle axe measures a full 30.5 inches. The shaft is made from wood. The blade is hand forged from carbon steel. Hang this exquisite axe on the wall as a lovely collection piece.

The impeccable detailing while simple gives this piece that something extra. The sides have cutouts for the ears making it easier to hear commands while in phalanx formation. A soft leather suspension liner with an adjustable strap and buckle is featured inside for comfort. This helmet safe guards the top of the head, cheeks and neck. This is the 18 Gauge Steel Plate Armor Classic Gorget SCA LARP. A gorget is worn over the shoulders and provides protection of the neck and throat and part of the chest and back. This gorget has a pointed shape and is basic in finish with no rivets and neck piece and comes polished. This style of armor was intended to deflect blows from swords, spears, clubs and went into disuse as more powerful ranged weapons were introduced to the battle field.
