Pros:
-solid handle, shouldn't break
-handle is metal and solid plastic, good cross guard
-sheath is solid
-very thick blade
Cons:
-due to the grind and very thick blade, some models can come dull like an axe
-tight plastic sheath can dull the blade over time going in and out
